Project Overview
April 17, 2026
Date :
Bundelkhand Mineral Concessionaire
Client :
Mining Advisory & Geological Modelling
Category :
Lalitpur District, Uttar Pradesh
Location :
Mining Advisory
We began with a structural geological appraisal of the 45-hectare concession, conducting photogrammetry drone mapping, trench logging, and retrospective review of 30 years of artisanal extraction records. This established that the pit held unrecognized high-grade diaspore intergrown within pyrophyllite schist.
Engineered Solutions & Execution
3D Geological Subsurface Modeling
Planned and logged 1,800 metres of core drilling on a 50-metre grid. Quantitative Rietveld XRD and WD-XRF confirmed substantial deposits of high-grade diaspore (Al2O3 > 58%) intergrown with industrial-grade pyrophyllite.
Sensor-Based Sorting Flowsheet
Designed an operational TEFR integrating open-pit mechanization with a pithead dry Dual-Energy X-Ray Transmission (XRT) sorting system, automating the separation of dense diaspore lumps from lower-density host rock.
Statutory Lease Regularization
Drafted Progressive Mine Closure and environmental management plans aligned with MoEFCC norms and Uttar Pradesh minor mineral concession rules, securing full long-term lease renewals.

Driving Value Beyond Completion
Our advisory practice remains deeply involved through statutory annual reserve reconciliations, computerised mine plan revisions, and ongoing pit optimisation. We ensure environmental and safety reporting remains aligned with Directorate of Geology and Mining norms across every phase of pit development.
The concessionaire evolved from an unorganised quarry operator into an institutional mining business serving India's premier refractory and steel producers. This case highlights how accredited geological exploration and bankable advisory unlock latent mineral wealth.
